Volunteers needed for BAS Synagogue Choir - every voice appreciated! No professional training required. All are welcome. Practice is last Sunday of every month at Noon.

Volunteers needed for BAS 2010-2011 New Year's Greeting Directory. The second largest fundraiser for BAS - please contact Julie Hochhauser. If you shop or dine at a business on a regular basis, or you own your own business, it would be great to advertise to our members in our directory! Please send any comments/suggestions to Julie.

ProJeCt of Easton "helps people help themselves."
ProJeCt was established in May 1968 through a partnership of volunteers, among them Rabbi Norton Shargel and Monsignor Francis Connolly.

ProJeCt of Easton needs voluteers for the following:
Early Childhood Center
Serving lunch - flexible scheduling available.
Food Pantry
Sort & break up delivery boxes - 3rd Fri of the month, 9am to Noon
Set up food pantry days - Mon or Thurs 8am to 10am (must be able to lift 50 lbs.)
Fowler Literacy Center
Volunteer Receptionist
- Mon-Thurs 6:30pm-9:30pm (flexible scheduling available)
Tutors - 18 or older with high school education or more. No teaching or foreign lanquage experience required. Training and materials provided. To help adult learners with the following: Adult literacy; ESL (Learning English as a Second Language); Improving pronunciation and articulation, Transitioning to secondary education or a career field.

Shalom Baby by Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley
Outreach initiative of the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley which welcomes the newest community members and their families!
Once notified, a specially trained Shalom Baby Volunteer will visit the home of each newborn bearing a gift bag full of special gifts and a warm welcome from our community. If you are interested, in volunteering and/or have information about expectant families, you can reach them at 610-821-5500 or by email a keren@jflv.org. Mrs. Jennifer Oxfeld of Allentwon, PA is the Shalom Baby Chairperson.
