Synagogue office is closed on Mondays and Fridays. Hours open: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

BAS Rabbi's Biography

Rabbi Mark L. Shrager

Rabbi Mark L. Shrager

 

Rabbi Mark L. Shrager graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. He received a Masters of Hebrew Literature and Rabbinical Ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.

After serving as an U.S. Air Force Chaplain in Japan for two years, Rabbi Shrager served as Rabbi at Indiana University, where the Rabbi is a Ph.D. candidate in Folklore.

Prior to coming to Bnai Abraham in 1993, the Rabbi was spiritual leader of Beth Israel Congregation, North Adams, MA.
